Harrow Alley

1) West out of Aldersgate Street, in Aldersgate Ward Without (O. and M. 1677-Strype, 1755).


Seems to be called "Magpye Alley" in Rocque and "Magpie Court" (q.v.) in Horwood.

Probably named after the sign.

2) North out of Fleet Lane, in Farringdon Ward Without (O. and M. 1677-Boyle, 1799).

Called : "Harrow Corner" in P.C. 1732, and Boyle.

Site now covered by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway lines.
