The two Australianspecies of the Elder are Sambucus gaudichaudiana, De C.,and S. xanthocarpa, F. v. M., N.O. Caprifoliaceae.

«Native elderberry. The fruit of these two native elders isfleshy and sweetish, and is used by the aborigines for food.»
