Bahurim

Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography

BAHURIM a town of Benjamin, on the eastern slope of the Mount of Olives. (2 Sam. 16.5.) It must have been situated near Bethany, and has been conjecturally assigned to the site of a modern village named Abu Dis(Shubert, cited by Robinson, Bib. Res. vol. 2. p. 103, note 3), which, however, was without the border of Benjamin.
