BOTIAEIUM(Βοτιάειον, Steph. s. v.: Eth. Βοτιαεύς), a city of Phrygia, on a lake Attaea, which produces salt. As the lake is in Phrygia, and a salt lake, it is possible that this Attaea may be Strabo's Tattaea.[G.L]
