BRENTHE(Βρένθη: Eth. Βρενθαῖος, Βρενθιεύς), a town of Arcadia in the district Cynuria, near the right bank of the river Alpheius, and on a small tributary called Brentheates (Βρενθεάτης), only 5 stadia in length.
