BURCHANA(Βουρχανίς: Borcum), called Fabaria, from a kind of wild beans growing there, was an island at the mouth of the Amasia ( Ems), which was discovered and conquered by Drusus. (Strab. 7.291; Plin. Nat. 4.27.)
