CALLINU´SA(Καλλίνουσα==Καλὴ Νῆσος), a promontory to the NW. of Cyprus, which Ptolemy (Ptol. 5.14.4) places to the W. of Soli. D'Anville ( Mém. de l'Acad. des Inscr. vol. 32. p. 537), from one Venetian map, gives it the name of Eleni, and from another Venetian map, Capo de Alessandreta.
