CALLISTRA´TIA(Καλλιστρατία), a town in Asia, on the coast of the Euxine, 20 stadia east of Cape Carambis (Marcian. Peripl. p. 73): it was also called Marsilla, according to the anonymous author of the Periplus. As Carambis is well known, Callistratia may also be determined.
