CAMBES a place in Gallia, according to the Anton. Itin. and the Table, on the road from Augusta Rauracorum ( Augst) to Argentovaria, on the left bank of the Rhine. Cambes is Gros Kembs, on the Rhine, in the department of Haut Rhin. There is a Little Kembson the opposite side of the river.
