CAMMANE´NE(Καμμανηνή), a division of Cappadocia. (Strab. pp. 534, 540.) Ptolemy (Ptol. 5.6), who enumerates six places in the division, calls it Cammanene. Zama, one of the towns, is on the road from Tavium to Mazaca or Caesareia.[G.L]
