CANTI´LIA a place in Gallia, which the Table fixes on the road between Aquae Nerae ( Néris) and Augustonometum ( Clermont). D'Anville supposes that it may be one of the two places called Chantelle-la-Vieilleand Chantelle-le-Châtel, for the name is the same, and the distances agree very well.
