CARRHODU´NUM(Καῤῤδουνον).

1. A town of the Lygians in Germania Magna, probably the modern Zarnowice, on the Pilica, in Poland. (Ptol. 2.11.29.)


2. A town in Pannonia, also called Cardunumn (Itin. Hier. p. 562), and probably the modern Sandroveez. (Ptol. 2.15.5.)


3. A town in European Sarmatia, thle situation of which is unknown. (Ptol. 3.5.30.) [L.S]
