CEBA a town of Liguria, mentioned by Pliny (Plin. Nat. 11.42. s. 97) as celebrated for its cheeses, is evidently the modern Ceva, inthe upper valley of the Tanaro, on the N. slope of the Apennines, near their junction with the Maritime Alps.[E.H.B]
