DARADUS, DARAS, or DARAT (Δάραδος ἢ Δάρας, Ptol. 4.6.6), a river of Africa, falling into the Atlantic on the W. coast, near the Portus Magnus, and containing crocodiles (Plin. Nat. 5.1); probably the Gambiaor Dio d'Ouro.
