DE´RRHIUM(Δέρριον), a place in Laconia on Mt. Taygetus, containing a statue of Artemis Derrhiatis in the open air, and near it a fountain called Anonus. (Paus. 3.20.7.) The site of the place is uncertain. Stephanus B. calls it DERA(s. v. Δέρα), and gives as Ethnic names Δεραῖοςand Δερεάτης.
