DEURIOPUS(Δευρίοπος, Strab. v. pp. 326, 327; Δουρίοπος, Steph. B.), a subdivison of Paeonia in Macedonia, the limits of which cannot be ascertained, but which, with Pelagonia and Lyncestis, comprehends the country watered by the Erigon and its branches. Bryanium, and Stymbara, an important place on the frontier of regal Macedonia, belonged to Deuriopus. (Liv. 39.54; Leake, Northern Greece, vol. iii. p, 306.)
