Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography

ELIO´CROCA(Lorca), a city of the Bastetani, in Hispania Tarraconensis, W. of Carthago Nova, and on the high road from that city to Castulo. ( Itin. Ant. p. 401.) It is probably identical with ILORCI, which Pliny mentions as a civitas stipendiaria, belonging to the conventus of Carthago Nova. (Plin. Nat. 3.1. s. 3; Wesseling, ad Itin. l. c.;Florez, Esp.
