ERY´THRUM(Ἐρυθρόν: El-Natroun, Ru.), a village (κώμη, Stadiasm. ), or place (τόπος, Ptol.), on the coast of Cyrenaica, between Darnis and Naustathnaus. (Synes. Ep. 51, 67; PtoL 4.4.5; Stadiasm.;Steph. B.) Its ruins are considerable; and it occupied a favourable site at the mouth of one of the most considerable streams of the district.
