Gasorus

Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography

GASO´RUS, GAZO´RUS(Γάσωρος, Ptol. 3.13.31; Γάζωρος, Steph. B.), a town of the Edoni in Macedonia, and, probably, the same place as the GRAERO of the Peutinger Table. Gasorus, therefore, probably stood between Tragilus and Euporia, towards the NW. end of Mons Pangaeus. (Leake, Trav. in North. Greece, vol. 3. p. 229.)
