GIRGIRI, M. (τὸ Γίργιπι ἢ Γίργυρις ὄρος), a mountain of Libya Interior, above the Regio Syrtica, containing the sources of the river CINYPS(Ptol. 4.6. § § 11, 17.) It is probably the Mons Gyri of Pliny (Plin. Nat. 5.5) and the GRATIARUM COLLIS of Herodotus.
