Guttalus

Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography

GUTTALUS a small river on the coast of the Baltic, which, according to Solinus (Solin. 20), existed on the west of the Vistula, and would therefore belong to Germany; but Pliny (Plin. Nat. 4.28) places it on the east of the Vistula, whence it must be regarded as a Sarmatian river, and is perhaps the same as the modern Pregel.
