HARPIS, FL. (Ἅρπις, Ptol. 3.10.14), a river of Sarmatia Europaea, probably the same as the Kugal'nikin Bessarabia. There was a people called the HARPII(Ἅρπιοι, Ptol. 3.10.13) in the district about this river.[E.B.J]
