LIDE(Λίδη), a mountain in Caria, in the neighbourhood of Pedasus. In the war of Cyrus against the Carians, the Pedasaeans alone of all the Carians maintained themselves against Harpalus, the Persian commander, by fortifying themselves on Mount Lide ; but in the end they were also reduced.
