LUCOPIBIA(Λουκοπιβία), in North Britain, mentioned by Ptolemy (Ptol. 2.3) as one of the towns of the Novantae ( Galloway), Rhetigonium being the other. Probably, this lay on Luce Bay, in Wigtonshire. The Monumenta Britannicasuggests Broughtern, and Whiterne.
