MA´LEUM, P. (Μαλεὼ ἅκρον, Ptol. 7.1.4), a promontory which forms the southern termination of Syrastrene (now Cutch). It separated the gulfs of Canthi (the Runn of Cutch) and Barygaza ( Cambay).[V]
