MASDORA´NUS(Μασδώρανος), a chain of mountains which divided Parthia from Carmania Deserta, extending in a S. direction. They must be considered as spurs of the Sariphi mountains ( Hazarás), which lie to the N. of Parthia (Ptol. 6.5.1).[V]
