MASSIE´NA a town, mentioned only by Avienus ( Or. Marit. 450, seq.), situated on the south coast of Hispania Tarraconensis, from which the Sinus Massienus derived its name. It is the bay S. of Cartagenabetween C. Palosand C. Gata.
