Orgas

Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography

ORGAS(Ὀργᾶς), a little tributary of the Maeander in Phrygia, flowing into the main river on the south-east of Celaenae (Strab. 12. p. 578; Plin. Nat. 5.29, where it is called Orga). It is probably the stream crossed by Mr. Arundell ( Discov. in As. Min. 1. p. 185) between Dineirand the bridge of the Maeander near Digetzi;but its modern name is unknown.
