Padinum

Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography

PADINUM a town of Gallia Cispadana, known only from Pliny, who mentions the Padinates among the municipia of that region (Plin. Nat. 3.15. s. 20). But he affords us no clue to its position. Cluver would identify it with Bondino, between Ferraraand Mirandola, but this is a mere conjecture. (Unver. Ital. p. 282.)
