RAME a place in Gallia Narbonensis, which the Itins. fix on the road between Embrodunum (Embrun) and Brigantium (Briançon). D'Anville says that there is a place called Rameon this road near the Durance, on the same side as Embrunand Briançon, and at a point where a torrent named Biessejoins the Durance.
