RUTUBIS(Polyb. ap. Plin. v. l; Ῥουσιβίς, Ptol. 4.5.1), a port of Mauretania, which must be identified with the low rocky point of Mazagan. The town situated upon this was the last possessed by the Portuguese in Marocco, and was abandoned by them in 1769. (Jackson, Moarocco, p. 104; Journ. of Geogr. Soc. vol. 6. p. 306.)
