SALA´RIA


1. (Σαλάρια,Ptol. 2.6.61), a town of the Bastitani, in the SE. part of Hispania Tarraconensis. According to Pliny it was a Roman colony. (Colonia Salariensis, 3.3. s. 4.) Ukert (ii. pt. 1. p. 407) identifies it with Sabiote, between Ubedaand Baeza.
