SEGO´NTIA


1. A town of the Celtiberi in Hispania Tarraconensis, 16 miles from Caesaraugusta. ( Itin. Ant. pp. 437, 439.) Most probably identical with the Seguntia of Livy (Liv. 34.19). The modern Rueda, according to Lapie.


2. (Σεγοντία Παράμικα,Ptol. 2.6.66), a town of the Barduli in Hispania Tarraconensis. [T.H.D]
