SELENTIS or SELENITIS(Σελεντίςor Σελενιτίς) a district in the south-west part of Cilicia, extending along the coast, but also some distance in the interior; it derived its name from the town of Selinus. (Ptol. 5.8. § § 2, 5.)[L.S]
