SITTOCATIS(Σιττόκατις, Arrian, Ind. 100.4), a navigable river, which, according to Arrian, flowed into the Ganges.It has been conjectured by Mannert that it is the same as the present Sind, a tributary of the Jumna, near Rampur(v. pt. 1. p. 69).
