STECTO´RIUM(Στεκτόριον: Eth. Στεκτορηνός), a town of Phrygia, between Peltae and Synnada. (Ptol. 5.2.25; Paus 10.27.1.) Kiepert (in Franz's Fünf Inschriften, p. 36) identifies it with the modern Afijum Karahissar. (Comp. Sestini, Num. Vet. p. 126.)
