TRIE´RES(Τριήρης, Plb. 5.68; Strab. 16. p. 754), a small fortified place in Phoenicia, on the northern declivity of Lebanon, and about 12 miles distant from Tripolis. It is in all probability the same place as the Tridis of the Itin. Hierosol. (p. 583). Lapie identifies it with Enty, others with Belmont.
