TURRIM, AD, in Gallia Narbonensis, east of Aquae Sextiae ( Aix), is placed in the Antonine Itin. between Matavonium and Tegulata [TEGULATA]. The name Turris is preserved in that of Tourves, which is written Torrevezand Torvisin some middle age documents. (D'Anville, Notice, &c. )
