VACUA(Οὐακούα, Strab. 3. p. 153; Οὔακος, Ptol. 2.5.4), a river in Lusitania, which entered the Atlantic ocean between the Durius and Munda, in the neighbourhood of Talabrica. Pliny (Plin. Nat. 4.21. s. 35) calls it Vacca. The present Vouga.
