ZYGOPOLIS(Συγόπολις, Strab. 12. p. 548), a town in Pontus, in the neighbourhood of Colchis. Stephanus B. (p. 290) conjectures that it was in the territory of the Zygi, which, however, does not agree with Strabo's description.[T.H.D]
