Wingoose Alley

Said to have been built by the Steelyard Merchants (ib. I. ii. 207).

"Wynges Lane," parcel of the Steelyard, mentioned 7 H. VIII. (L. and P. H. VIII. 1515-18, p.124).

Name may have been derived from "Wendegaynelane" (q.v.).
