«`Queensland Nut.' This tree bears an edible nut of excellentflavour, relished both by Aborigines and Europeans. As it formsa nutritious article of food to the former, timber-getters arenot permitted to fell the trees. It is well worth extensivecultivation, for the nuts are always eagerly bought.»
