another name for the «toot,» a New Zealand shrub, Coriaria thymifolia, N.O.Coriarieae. Called Ink-plant on account of its juice,which soon turns to black. There is also an EuropeanInk-plant, Coriaria myrtifolia, so that this isonly a different species.
