AEBU´RA(Αἴβουρα: Eth. Αἰβουραῖος: prob. Cuerva), a town of the Carpetani, in Hispania Tarraconensis (Liv. 40.30; Strab. ap. Steph. B. s. v.), probably the Λιβόραof Ptolemy (Ptol. 2.6). Its name appears on coins as Aipora and Apora. (Mionnet, vol. 1. p. 55, Supp. vol. i. pp. 111, 112).
