ARANDIS(Ἀρανδίς, Ptol. 2.5.6; Aranni, It. Ant. p. 426, Geogr. Ray. 4.43; Aranditani, Plin. Nat. 4.22. s. 35: prob. Ourique), a stipendiary town of the Celtici, in Lusitania, on the high road from the mouth of the Anas to Ebora, 60 M. P. north of Ossonoba. Some take it for the modern Abrantes.
