BARNA(Βάρνα, Arrian. Ind. 27), a small village at which the fleet of Nearchus halted for a short time. It was the next place to Balomum, and is probably the same as the Badara (Βαδάρα Γεδρωσίας) of Ptolemy. (6.21.5.) (Vincent, Navig. of Indian Ocean, vol. 1. p. 250.)
