Breuci

BREUCI(Βρευκοῖ), a tribe in Lower Pannonia. (Ptol. 2.16.3; Strab. 7. p. 314.) Their war with the Romans under their chief Baton, and their defeat, are described by Dio Cassius (Dio Cass. 55.29, foil.; comp. Plin. Nat. 3.28).
