DESUDABA a place in Maedica of Macedonia, 75 M. P. from Almana, on the Axius, where the mercenaries of the Gauls who had been summoned by Perseus in the memorable campaign of B.C. 168, took up their position. (Liv. 44.26.) Leake ( Northern Greece, vol. 3. p. 472) has placed it at or near Kumánovo, on one of the confluents of the Upper Axius.
