Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography

DIA´NA an island off the coast of Spain, mentioned in the Maritime Itinerary ( Itin. Ant. p. 510), where, however, the text is confused. If the name be genuine, it may be identified with the small island off the Pr. Dianium, which Strabo mentions, but without naming it. (Strab. 3. p. 159.)
