LEUCOTHEES FANUM(Λευκοθέας ἱερόν), a temple and oracle in the district of the Moschi in Colchis. Its legendary founder was Phryxus; the temple was plundered by Pharnaces and then by Mithridates. (Strab. 11. p. 498.) The site has been placed near Suram, on the frontiers of Imiretiaand Kartuhlia, where two large tumuliare now found.
